INTERISTAS's Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save INTERISTAS from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when INTERISTAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ntinos Balouris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Greg Van Goolen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 74 minute of play. INTERISTAS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Chris-George Elssen scored to the left of an out of position Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos, making the score, 0-2. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see INTERISTAS lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
