Houston Fire F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Scott Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute István Földes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Rameriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihály Földesi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Olivieri in the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Ferenc Baróti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gyál United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Houston Fire F.C. the free kick. Ferenc Baróti kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Houston Fire F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Scott Guerra. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Scott Guerra made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goal looked a bit too open when Scott Guerra came free, but Mihály Földesi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Houston Fire F.C. fully deserved thier win.
