Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) In the 2nd match minute, istanbulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Latif Şakir to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute of the match Eulalio Aragones shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hatemi Cire showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Enrique Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaan Erginsoy in the 5th minute of play. Enrique Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaan Erginsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Eusebio Cordarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hatemi Cire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Xeneizes's zone, Ahmet Baki Uzsoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Batista came out of the goal and Ahmet Baki Uzsoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xeneizes's Enrique Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Latif Şakir in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Lucca Langoni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hatemi Cire was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Latif Şakir came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the istanbulls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Latif Şakir couldn't finish the play. In the 21st match minute, istanbulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Songurbey Nesip to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Hermon charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Hermon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Xeneizes's Teodosio Hermon got a free kick in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Baki Uzsoy got free with Enrique Batista in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 minutes, Kaan Erginsoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the istanbulls and the Xeneizes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Latif Şakir kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enrique Batista. That made the score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Latif Şakir to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ahmet Baki Uzsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xeneizes made a substitution. Ernesto Sanduru replaced Teodosio Hermon. Xeneizes made a substitution. Federico Crispo replaced Eusebio Cordarin. Ernesto Sanduru kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Ahmet Baki Uzsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Xeneizes booed when istanbulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Baki Uzsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Baki Uzsoy in the 84th minute of play forced Xeneizes's goalkeeper Enrique Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Latif Şakir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Batista having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The istanbulls fans cheered their team off the field, for while Xeneizes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
