The supporters of Club Atletico Lanus booed when Aleksotas FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinaras Kriščiūnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Aleksotas FK's protests and gave Alfredas Zinkevičius a yellow card for diving instead. 5 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Eli notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Aleksotas FK's Virginijus Taujanskas. Virginijus Taujanskas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Eli in the 8th minute of play forced Aleksotas FK's goalkeeper Virginijus Taujanskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustinas Baliutis in the 11th minute of play forced Club Atletico Lanus's goalkeeper Gerardo Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjaminas Česnauskas's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Lanus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virginijus Taujanskas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Virginijus Taujanskas came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Lanus's Gabriel Veronica. But to his dismay, Gabriel Veronica quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Virginijus Taujanskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aleksotas FK's Virginijus Taujanskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Bieito in the 32nd minute of play. Gervasio Bieito hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The supporters of Aleksotas FK booed when Club Atletico Lanus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Eguerdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilius Latvėnas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute, Denis Salvidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Lobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilius Latvėnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Augustinas Baliutis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Lobo was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 75th minute Gervasio Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virginijus Taujanskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virginijus Taujanskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Bieito in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Aleksotas FK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. In the 93rd minute, Gervasio Bieito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Lanus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Club Atletico Lanus's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
