After 13 minutes of play, Hungarian Olympic's Csaba Tisza made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquilino Osmundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! István Császár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Medardo was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Csaba Tisza in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Osmundo saved Gladiators from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hungarian Olympic fully deserved thier win.
