Gasteiz Ruesga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Bakar Gopala Pillai when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th minute Swift GTi FDC were awarded a corner. Telmo Seoane went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Swift GTi FDC's Telmo Seoane to fire away a dangerous shot which Bakar Gopala Pillai despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Endira in the 12th minute of play forced Swift GTi FDC's goalkeeper Daniel Fondos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Benicio Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Fondos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Swift GTi FDC got a freekick which was hit by Sidoro Trullols. In the 17th minute of the match Cornelio Quilino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Fondos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gilberto Senen hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gasteiz Ruesga in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bakar Gopala Pillai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rossobianco's Bakar Gopala Pillai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Rossobianco from getting a goal against them. When John Estefania fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swift GTi FDC's protests and gave John Estefania a yellow card for diving instead. 33 minutes into the match, Swift GTi FDC's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Ruy came free, but Daniel Fondos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rossobianco's goalkeeper Bakar Gopala Pillai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36 played minutes, Swift GTi FDC's Natanael Villayres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bakar Gopala Pillai came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Swift GTi FDC reached it. Benicio Ruy scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Fondos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Swift GTi FDC booed when Rossobianco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Leoiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 played minutes, Swift GTi FDC's Telmo Seoane shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bakar Gopala Pillai came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Swift GTi FDC reached it. In the 46th minute of the match, Gasteiz Ruesga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bakar Gopala Pillai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gasteiz Ruesga made a kick off. A collision led to Swift GTi FDC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gasteiz Ruesga hit a great ball. John Estefania received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bakar Gopala Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rossobianco's Bakar Gopala Pillai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gasteiz Ruesga in the 68th minute of play. Bakar Gopala Pillai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gasteiz Ruesga in the 71st minute of the match. If Rolando Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Natanael Villayres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Benicio Ruy fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bakar Gopala Pillai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gasteiz Ruesga's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Swift GTi FDC got a corner. Rossobianco's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Telmo Seoane ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Bento Peñarroja managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Bento Peñarroja sped through Rossobianco's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bakar Gopala Pillai. Telmo Seoane made a great header on Swift GTi FDC's corner, it was just that Rossobianco's Bakar Gopala Pillai managed to reach the ball for a save.
