Peter Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Colecchia in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Fabiano Romano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lenzima Juniors MZ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Björnlunda IF the free kick. Malte Danielsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Colecchia in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Björnlunda IF's Calle Helberg got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Björnlunda IF's Harald Tillman made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Hellbom was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peter Ivarsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Mameli went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Harald Tillman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Thomas Hellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Tillman in the 32nd minute of play forced Lenzima Juniors MZ™'s goalkeeper Thomas Hellbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Bruno Mameli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Ivarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Lenzima Juniors MZ™'s goalkeeper Thomas Hellbom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Malte Danielsson. Flavio Gaspari made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dario Colecchia however managed to control. Calle Helberg hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Peter Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Colecchia, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Harald Tillman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björnlunda IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harald Tillman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 minutes of play Lenzima Juniors MZ™'s Fabiano Romano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Lenzima Juniors MZ™'s Fabiano Romano got a free kick in the 61st minute. Malte Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Hellbom having to interfere. A collision led to Björnlunda IF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jens-Erik Hård hit a great ball. With a little luck, Björnlunda IF's Peter Ivarsson got control of the ball when Bruno Mameli tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Harald Tillman came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Björnlunda IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harald Tillman couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Lenzima Juniors MZ™ defense, Harald Tillman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Hellbom. The Lenzima Juniors MZ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Hellbom should have stopped the shot. After 89 minutes, Bruno Mameli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lenzima Juniors MZ™ and the Björnlunda IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Bruno Mameli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the game, Dario Colecchia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lenzima Juniors MZ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Björnlunda IF the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, Lenzima Juniors MZ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Colecchia to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Mameli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Peter Ivarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Björnlunda IF were victorious despite being under pressure from Lenzima Juniors MZ™ for much of the match.
