Geary Byrnes short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Jens-Ola Fågel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 43 played minutes Cash Is King got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Söderström. After having played for 45 minutes, Gilian McDonald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilian McDonald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Cash Is King booed when KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seoirse Morrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level.
