Aírton Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Paulo Lira in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tadeo Gotzon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luciano Rudolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Aírton Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Mino got free with Aírton Monteiro in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. One of Moscovi Ψ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JOVENS DE OURO FC:s goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Moscovi Ψ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
