Basri Ortaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Defensa y Justicia's goalkeeper Horacio Lugo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İskender Necat. Defensa y Justicia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Arın İmruz scored to the left of an out of position Horacio Lugo, making the score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when İskender Necat got free with Horacio Lugo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zekeriya Ulubay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Horacio Lugo made a huge save. Horacio Lugo stood somewhat misplaced when Zekeriya Ulubay came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 29 minute. Horacio Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arın İmruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Salvador Lando's late challenge caught a Kültepe Spor Kulübü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Lando helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kültepe Spor Kulübü booed when Defensa y Justicia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Lando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arın İmruz scored 8-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horacio Lugo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Defensa y Justicia defense, Basri Ortaç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horacio Lugo. The Defensa y Justicia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horacio Lugo should have stopped the shot. Defensa y Justicia's Horacio Lugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerim Orgunalp in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Kerim Orgunalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Lugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arın İmruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
