Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl-Magnus Dalström started the match with the kick off. Internacional were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Zero Hedge's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Pedro Toledo took the corner. The corner led Internacional's João Pedro Toledo to fire away a dangerous shot which Stefan Arenius despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 5 minutes, Joacim Björk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zero Hedge and the Internacional players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Zero Hedge got a freekick which was hit by Joacim Björk. 7 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Leal came free, but Stefan Arenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pedro Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Joacim Björk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's Karl-Magnus Dalström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdomiro Guedes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Zero Hedge's zone, Frank Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Arenius came out of the goal and Frank Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes, Michel Faria made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zero Hedge's Stefan Arenius tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdomiro Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Magnus Dalström went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ronaldinho Leal hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Joacim Björk struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Valdomiro Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zero Hedge. In the 31st minute Frank Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Arenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Bo-Erik Billberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Arenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Brasil in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Internacional's André Brito seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed André Brito the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Internacional protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and André Brito had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Internacional! The referee gave Zero Hedge a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Oskar Ahlrot, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Internacional's Valdomiro Guedes. 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michel Faria made a kick off. The supporters of Zero Hedge booed when Internacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Ronaldinho Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Arenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Karl-Magnus Dalström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdomiro Guedes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Frank Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Stefan Arenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zero Hedge made a substitution. Åke Jansson replaced Karl-Magnus Dalström. 67 minutes into the match, Michel Faria notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Zero Hedge's Stefan Arenius. Stefan Arenius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 70 played minutes Zero Hedge got a freekick which was hit by Isak Örtendal. In the 74th minute, Isak Örtendal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Zero Hedge getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Nils Eliasson hit a great ball. Stefan Arenius made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Pedro Toledo in the 76th minute. Oskar Ahlrot hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Michel Faria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Arenius was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Nando de Alcântara hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Internacional's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik Billberg came free, but Valdomiro Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdomiro Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Internacional supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Internacional would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
