Spectators: 7761 (Terracing: 5822, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when John Villalon took the kick off in the first half of the match. The PATADAS S.A fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when PATADAS S.A's Ladislao Daunte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bernardino Oto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 minutes, Lucio Pacho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PATADAS S.A and the United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucio Pacho hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Uriel Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Ofelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Villalon went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. During the 25th minute of the match Lucio Pacho completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lucio Pacho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 26th minute, Lucio Pacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Goren Cabañas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Ofelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PATADAS S.A's Nestor Ofelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Smith in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, United FC's John Villalon got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Arnaldo Ekain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 played minutes PATADAS S.A got a freekick which was hit by Amado Urre. United FC's Uriel Ribeiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PATADAS S.A. In the 41st minute, Uriel Ribeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Nestor Ofelio made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Goren Cabañas sent off a good shot on target. After 45 minutes, Carlos Augusto Peto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PATADAS S.A and the United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Mauro Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardino Oto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes United FC got a freekick which was hit by John Villalon. With a little luck, United FC's Fabien Barthez got control of the ball when Bernardino Oto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabien Barthez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardino Oto in the 64th minute. David Bero kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Uriel Ribeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Ofelio skillfully saved the ball. 72 minutes into the game, one of PATADAS S.A:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edwin Smith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uriel Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes PATADAS S.A got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Llanos. Nestor Ofelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the PATADAS S.A defense, Edwin Smith kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Ofelio. The PATADAS S.A fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Ofelio should have stopped the shot. Nestor Ofelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goren Cabañas in the 92nd minute of play.
