PATADAS S.A's Carlos Augusto Peto got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, PATADAS S.A's Israel Goiz got a free kick in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Bernardino Oto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Borussia Dortmund's Bermudo Mestre. Bermudo Mestre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernandez Quintairos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nestor Ofelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ladislao Daunte managed to get in a good position for a shot. PATADAS S.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Daunte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bermudo Mestre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Borussia Dortmund's Bermudo Mestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Oto in the 21st minute of play. If Bernardino Oto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund booed when PATADAS S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Goiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elazar Villametide to maneuver through the defense. Fernandez Quintairos struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Nestor Ofelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. When Walery Plech fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PATADAS S.A's protests and gave Walery Plech a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes PATADAS S.A got a freekick which was hit by Walery Plech. Bermudo Mestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Bero in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Borussia Dortmund defense, Ladislao Daunte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bermudo Mestre. The Borussia Dortmund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bermudo Mestre should have stopped the shot. Aldo Vimaro charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Vimaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aldo Vimaro kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernandez Quintairos to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Daunte in the 53rd minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Bermudo Mestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Ladislao Daunte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bermudo Mestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javiero Menendez to maneuver through the defense. Bermudo Mestre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Daunte in the 58th minute of the match. Fliz Marty kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Fernandez Quintairos got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Daunte in the 77th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Bermudo Mestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Borussia Dortmund's Bermudo Mestre got control of the ball when Bernardino Oto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Javiero Menendez hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Bernardino Oto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PATADAS S.A's Nestor Ofelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandez Quintairos in the 95th minute of play. The Borussia Dortmund fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PATADAS S.A were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
