Laurens Oosterman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Björnberg in the 7th minute of play. Dirk Talsma hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Frans Snell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dirk Talsma in the 10th minute. Orvar Skager hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Mickael Achterberg got a free kick in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernst Zandberg during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Ernst Zandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Brenner came free, but Laurens Oosterman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. De Pelgrims were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Team Xtra personell's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geert Arend Robben took the corner. In the 34th minute Fred Wijker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frans Snell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Andreas Olsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team Xtra personell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Pelgrims the free kick. Frans Snell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. De Pelgrims's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jasper Staarman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laurens Oosterman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Björnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Pål Hagberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Laurens Oosterman made a huge save. In the 53rd minute Jasper Staarman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frans Snell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Pål Hagberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laurens Oosterman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Talsma in the 58th minute of play forced Team Xtra personell's goalkeeper Frans Snell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jos Roswinkel came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the De Pelgrims fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jos Roswinkel couldn't finish the play. Laurens Oosterman was a little too slow when Andreas Olsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-2. Frans Snell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Talsma in the 74th minute of play. Jasper Staarman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurens Oosterman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Olsson in the 79th minute of the match. Team Xtra personell's Frans Snell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Staarman in the 80th minute of play. With a little luck, De Pelgrims's Laurens Oosterman got control of the ball when Sven Östlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laurens Oosterman made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Sebastian Björnberg sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Dirk Talsma managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Pelgrims's supporters rose to their feet, but Dirk Talsma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frans Snell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. De Pelgrims's Laurens Oosterman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save De Pelgrims from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Jos Roswinkel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frans Snell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. De Pelgrims succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Team Xtra personell had controlled the match.
