Ciro Tello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Majadita FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Victoro. 33 minutes into the game, Omar Laurendi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Majadita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acratas Unidos the free kick. Paolo Nahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jeronimo Felo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acratas Unidos's Ciro Tello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Acratas Unidos from getting a goal against them. If Salvador Qwinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Majadita FC booed when Acratas Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pocho Mele didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
