Teofilo Federigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Walentowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Hondo in the 26th minute of play forced KKS Magines's goalkeeper Waldemar Robak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Federigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Chodzinski in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janusz Chmelyk in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Federigo saved Palermo from getting behind. After 74 minutes, Korneliusz Skikiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KKS Magines and the Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. KKS Magines's Waldemar Robak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Gane in the 75th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KKS Magines walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
