Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantin Pintilescu to make the kick off. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantin Pintilescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Catarino Macena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gigel Barboni charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gigel Barboni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Gigel Barboni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aron Lițiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catarino Macena in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Catarino Macena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Garanhão do SUL supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Maci -MM-'s performance. The match ended with a win for FC Maci -MM-.
