When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dionisio Rami sped through Protegéerna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of André Palmquist. In the 7thth minute of the game Dionisio Rami who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Protegéerna's André Palmquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Gomez charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicanor Gomez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Nicanor Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorio Oso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Martin Modig. Apocalípticos & Caóticos were furious when Nicanor Gomez was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 19th minute, one of Apocalípticos & Caóticos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Apocalípticos & Caóticos. When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, Protegéerna's Martin Modig got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Honorio Oso. After a rather tough play, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Timoteo Ponce got a free kick in the 24th minute. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Honorio Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Billberg in the 25th minute of play. André Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match Atilano Muc sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Palmquist skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Protegéerna defense, Timoteo Ponce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Palmquist. The Protegéerna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Palmquist should have stopped the shot. When Atilano Muc came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Apocalípticos & Caóticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Muc couldn't finish the play. After having played for 40 minutes, Dalmacio Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Herauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Protegéerna defense, Dionisio Rami kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Palmquist. The Protegéerna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Palmquist should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivar Bäckman was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Dionisio Rami sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Palmquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Herauso in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Herauso in the 62nd minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper André Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Oso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Bäckman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Herman Fernström hit a great ball. The supporters of Apocalípticos & Caóticos booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Fernström didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Palmquist acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Atilano Muc. Protegéerna's Greger Broman got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Dionisio Rami kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving André Palmquist. That made the score 1-4 in the 75 minute of play. Dalmacio Herauso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Palmquist having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Rami in the 82nd minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper André Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes Protegéerna got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Bergfeldt. In the 84th minute, Dalmacio Herauso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Palmquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. With a little luck, Protegéerna's André Palmquist got control of the ball when Dalmacio Herauso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Dalmacio Herauso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apocalípticos & Caóticos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Apocalípticos & Caóticos played a much better game than Protegéerna and deserved their victory. The Protegéerna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
