Pipon Pipon's Francisco Pope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markos Renieris in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to C. A. Pipon Pipon getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Napoleon Bowles hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markos Renieris in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Pope saved C. A. Pipon Pipon from getting behind. Saronida FC's Vlassis Giannoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donovan Heath in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Markos Renieris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saronida FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Burr got free with Vlassis Giannoglou in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th match minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colby Wheeler to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Charis Kastanakos came free, but Francisco Pope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Thodoris Tsirogiannis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saronida FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Pipon Pipon the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Saronida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thodoris Tsirogiannis to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes C. A. Pipon Pipon got a freekick which was hit by Thanh Goldberg. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Saronida FC's Petros Maragoudakis was substituted for Simos Zacharenios. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donovan Heath to make the kick off. Donovan Heath kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Rene Burr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vlassis Giannoglou having to make a save. Donovan Heath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlassis Giannoglou having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Donovan Heath was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Pipon Pipon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saronida FC the free kick. In the 71st minute, Donovan Heath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Omar Pritchard was substituted for Donovan Heath. 84 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Francisco Pope had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markos Renieris. Antonis Vrazilianos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Francisco Pope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Markos Renieris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Pope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Burr in the 95th minute of play forced Saronida FC's goalkeeper Vlassis Giannoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sotiris Pavlidis charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sotiris Pavlidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sotiris Pavlidis kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
