Teachers FC's Rogério Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Teachers FC's Vicente Paixão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vanko Spasunov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. SvE United's Vanko Spasunov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Braga in the 17th minute of play. Rogério Braga took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vanko Spasunov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leal Pádua got free with Vanko Spasunov in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Hermes Almeida could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Vanko Spasunov however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 94 minutes, Hermes Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teachers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermes Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Abel Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teachers FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
