Spectators: 7677 (Terracing: 5758, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Valencia CF Mindszent's Endre Irmai started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guararapes's Paulo Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Weszely in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Endre Irmai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Rosa was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After 16 played minutes Guararapes got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho Fontes. György Weszely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Fontes in the 26th minute of play forced Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Viktor Tolnai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Endre Irmai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Rosa was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Paulo Rosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Endre Irmai's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When Valencia CF Mindszent's Endre Irmai in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guararapes's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 played minutes Guararapes got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Queirós. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Endre Irmai in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Rosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Guararapes getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Elói Loureiro hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes Guararapes got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho Fontes. In the 44th match minute, Guararapes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. György Weszely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Márton Koncz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valencia CF Mindszent's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guararapes the free kick. Márton Koncz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. A collision led to Guararapes getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Elói Loureiro hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Levente Kardos got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 64th match minute, Valencia CF Mindszent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endre Kocsis to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Valencia CF Mindszent's István Bósa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed István Bósa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Valencia CF Mindszent protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and István Bósa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Guararapes a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zé Moraes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Valencia CF Mindszent's Viktor Tolnai. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Valencia CF Mindszent's zone, Osmar Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Tolnai came out of the goal and Osmar Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viktor Tolnai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Rosa was a little too slow when György Weszely got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-1. Osmar Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Endre Irmai lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Paulo Rosa. In the 90th minute Elói Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Tolnai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute Osmar Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Tolnai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Moraes made a great header on Guararapes's corner, it was just that Valencia CF Mindszent's Viktor Tolnai managed to reach the ball for a save. Valencia CF Mindszent's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
