Mattias Downing started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Cadu Team's goal looked a bit too open when Batista Diana came free, but Gelu Lepuș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Mattias Downing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cresconio Mel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Downing, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A collision led to FERRABARCA FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Esteban Colado hit a great ball. Cadu Team were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after FERRABARCA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zé Carlos Gerber took the corner. The corner led Cadu Team's Zé Carlos Gerber to fire away a dangerous shot which Cresconio Mel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mattias Downing scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cresconio Mel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FERRABARCA FC booed when Cadu Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Downing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Faxardo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Julian Jibaja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Mattias Downing ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cresconio Mel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mattias Downing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cresconio Mel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Paiva in the 56th minute of play forced FERRABARCA FC's goalkeeper Cresconio Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cresconio Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Paiva in the 59th minute of the match. Válbson Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, one of FERRABARCA FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FERRABARCA FC. 68 minutes into the game, Ediberto da Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Cresconio Mel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 71 minutes into the game, Válbson Paiva lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Cresconio Mel. The throw-in from Antonio Faxardo in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cadu Team's Cássio Neiva. FERRABARCA FC's Cresconio Mel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save FERRABARCA FC from getting a goal against them. Cresconio Mel stood somewhat misplaced when Válbson Paiva came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 76 minute. Mattias Downing hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 96thth minute of the game Válbson Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FERRABARCA FC's Cresconio Mel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cresconio Mel was a little too slow when Mattias Downing got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 0-7.
