Sebastian Paez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Ureña went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 7 played minutes Free Pot got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Montrelle. In the 13th minute, Free Pot's Raimundo Montrelle seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Raimundo Montrelle the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Free Pot protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raimundo Montrelle had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Raimundo Montrelle hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Walme Saucedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arias Burgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marías Plant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Paez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sérgio Silveira went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sebastian Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Paniagua in the 32nd minute of play. Marco Ureña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 minutes Free Pot's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walme Saucedo who took care of the corner kick. Walme Saucedo made a great header on C.A. GUAYACO's corner, it was just that Free Pot's Sebastian Paez managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half C.A. GUAYACO were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Paniagua to make the kick off. Free Pot's Sebastian Paez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Free Pot from getting a goal against them. Armando Paniagua took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Paez. Sebastian Paez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Paniagua got free with Sebastian Paez in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the game, C.A. GUAYACO's Armando Paniagua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Paez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 67th match minute, C.A. GUAYACO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Ureña to maneuver through the defense. Rui Prado's late challenge caught a Free Pot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Prado helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A. GUAYACO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! After 70 played minutes C.A. GUAYACO got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Murieta. Arias Burgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marías Plant in the 71st minute of the match. Sebastian Paez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Ureña, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Armando Paniagua could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Sebastian Paez however easily saved by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, Marco Ureña dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sebastian Paez, 0-6. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Sérgio Silveira took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Sebastian Paez to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marco Ureña hit a great ball. Marías Plant might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arias Burgo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marías Plant ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Free Pot's Federico Rey got a free kick in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Paniagua in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Paez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Free Pot getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bob Bongo hit a great ball. Sebastian Paez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sérgio Silveira in the 91st minute. Sebastian Paez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Ureña in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Sérgio Silveira got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Marías Plant came free, but Arias Burgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Sérgio Silveira hit a great ball. C.A. GUAYACO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
