Antonin Artaud scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavian Bogdănescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Octavian Bogdănescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rayman Alayz. In the 15th minute, Rayman Alayz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dorin Neculuță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Yoel Yzarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes, FC Steaua Pildesti's Rareș Roşoga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yoel Yzarra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Steaua Pildesti reached it. Ronaldo Urraca succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 21st playminute. Eutor Cortina hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on FC Steaua Pildesti's corner Moise Irod fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yoel Yzarra quite easily take care of the ball. The FC Steaua Pildesti fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when FC Steaua Pildesti's Moise Chesaru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 32nd minute, Moise Chesaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yoel Yzarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Costin Iorgu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Costin Iorgu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moise Chesaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldo Urraca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Bogdănescu having to interfere. Octavian Bogdănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Urraca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yoel Yzarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Irod in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Venceslao Gargante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aioros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Octavian Bogdănescu came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Aioros FC's Noel Sanvicente. But to his dismay, Noel Sanvicente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. The supporters of Aioros FC booed when FC Steaua Pildesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Iorgu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yoel Yzarra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costin Iorgu's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moise Chesaru in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yoel Yzarra saved Aioros FC from getting behind. Virgil Gherdan's late challenge caught a Aioros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgil Gherdan helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Primo Peramato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aioros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Primo Peramato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavian Bogdănescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costin Iorgu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
