Monks in Robes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Pracki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute Cristiano Marzulli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bøje Dyssen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes, CA Boca Jrs's Cristiano Marzulli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bøje Dyssen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CA Boca Jrs reached it. After a rather tough play, CA Boca Jrs's Concetto Festa got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 42 minutes, Reinar Lennild mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monks in Robes and the CA Boca Jrs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bøje Dyssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Marzulli, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The supporters of Monks in Robes booed when CA Boca Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Scirea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Cristiano Marzulli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Bøje Dyssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CA Boca Jrs's Felice Cino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save CA Boca Jrs from getting a goal against them. In the 56th match minute, CA Boca Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Festa to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, CA Boca Jrs's Armando Gava got a free kick in the 58th minute. Felix Ingvardsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 62 minutes on the clock, Elvio Abalos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Cristiano Marzulli was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Marzulli in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bøje Dyssen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Felix Ingvardsen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CA Boca Jrs's Felice Cino. Felice Cino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to CA Boca Jrs getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Cristiano Marzulli hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Amedeo Cesaroni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Pracki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The CA Boca Jrs fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Monks in Robes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
