With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tord Waller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Estavan Virto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baptiste Demestre in the 9th minute of play. When Le Stade Briochin UC's Tony Amadieu in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Playa Malvín's goalie prevented a goal. After 11 played minutes Le Stade Briochin UC got a freekick which was hit by Eymeric Cornec. 14 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Amadieu came free, but Estavan Virto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tord Waller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Bale in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Playa Malvín got a corner. Le Stade Briochin UC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Formerio Cogollor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Leon Ciriaca to score against Tord Waller in Le Stade Briochin UC's goal. 1-0 after 18 minutes. 21 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Amadieu came free, but Estavan Virto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Le Stade Briochin UC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eymeric Cornec to maneuver through the defense. Christian Bale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Amadieu came free, but Estavan Virto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Cardot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estavan Virto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Cardot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Le Stade Briochin UC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Mathias Linard hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseo Tejada to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baptiste Demestre got free with Estavan Virto in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 77 minutes, Cillian Murphy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Playa Malvín and the Le Stade Briochin UC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Playa Malvín's Cillian Murphy got a free kick in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Tejada came free, but Tord Waller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
