Delfim Vilas Boas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keenan Worthington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Keenan Worthington got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Shane Smiley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Delfim Vilas Boas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute Lázaro Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Chapui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when MZ Fénix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Vilanova didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keenan Worthington in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delfim Vilas Boas saved MZ Fénix from getting behind. Hankins charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed D.J. Hankins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. D.J. Hankins kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Keenan Worthington struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Delfim Vilas Boas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Miami Futbol Club. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Chu Zheng Yu replaced D.J. Hankins. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 65th minute Keenan Worthington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Vilas Boas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Keenan Worthington came free, but Delfim Vilas Boas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
