Despite this Raimundo Aznaro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in FFC Merainies 03's zone, Gonzalo Regis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heiko Som came out of the goal and Gonzalo Regis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Annar Bemmel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FFC Merainies 03's supporters crossed their fingers, but Annar Bemmel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Kalessin getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gonzalo Regis hit a great ball. Niek Bemmel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raimundo Aznaro. Kalessin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mariano Chinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When FFC Merainies 03's Rafael van Zeggeren in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Raimundo Aznaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niek Bemmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Regis got free with Heiko Som in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute of the match, Gonzalo Regis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Heiko Som was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael van Zeggeren was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match, Rafael van Zeggeren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Raimundo Aznaro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 56th match minute, Kalessin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Lucidi to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael van Zeggeren in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimundo Aznaro saved Kalessin from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael van Zeggeren in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Aznaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kalessin's Raimundo Aznaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Kalessin from getting a goal against them. Erben Medgyesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Raimundo Aznaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Aznaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erben Medgyesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Francesco Ferretti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiko Som having to interfere. After 81 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Springelkamp. If Francesco Ferretti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Rafael van Zeggeren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Aznaro made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Annar Bemmel sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, Wim Mussies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Regis kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Raimundo Aznaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael van Zeggeren in the 96th minute of the match.
