Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Sonny Alrot made the kick off and thus started the match. Al-Norr's Kevin Granqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Hellsing in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gafflarna IF's Kaj Blom got a free kick in the 7th minute. Gustaf Fagrell might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over John Lennartsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaf Fagrell ran back to his position shaking his head. John Lennartsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristoffer Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Al-Norr's goalkeeper Kevin Granqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sonny Alrot. A collision led to Al-Norr getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gunnar Nordahl hit a great ball. Kevin Granqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Hellsing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sonny Alrot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kevin Granqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. John Lennartsson came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Norr's Kristoffer Johansson. But to his dismay, Kristoffer Johansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. John Lennartsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Ahlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. John Lennartsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristoffer Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gunnar Nordahl came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Al-Norr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Nordahl couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute Kristoffer Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Lennartsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Carl Ahlstedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Al-Norr fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Al-Norr were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristoffer Johansson made a kick off. If Calle Hellsing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the game, Martin Tingelholm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gafflarna IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al-Norr the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gafflarna IF's Martin Tingelholm got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Sonny Alrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, Al-Norr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Wallin to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Peter Söderström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving John Lennartsson. That made the score 0-3 in the 76 minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Gafflarna IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Johansson came free, but John Lennartsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Johansson in the 80th minute of play forced Gafflarna IF's goalkeeper John Lennartsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes, Sonny Alrot made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Al-Norr's Kevin Granqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Gafflarna IF booed when Al-Norr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Söderström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Gafflarna IF's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Ahlstedt came free, but John Lennartsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Al-Norr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristoffer Johansson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 91 minutes, Sonny Alrot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gafflarna IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sonny Alrot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John Lennartsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Johansson in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Ahlstedt in the 96th minute of play forced Gafflarna IF's goalkeeper John Lennartsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
