The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zack Whittaker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Bacardi Black Bats defense, Romeo Bond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateus Peralta. The Bacardi Black Bats fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateus Peralta should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Abel Paião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bacardi Black Bats's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ampthill FC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Romeo Bond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ampthill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Bond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateus Peralta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeo Bond kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Bacardi Black Bats manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Ampthill FC to win.
