In the 20thth minute of the game Cléberson Damião who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC GURZUN's Marcu Cretan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Viorel Drilea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdemar Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Goanță in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Valdemar Quadros got control of the ball when Liviu Plop tried to sneak it across the goal line. Liviu Plop blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdemar Quadros having to make a save. Marcu Cretan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cléberson Damião's shot from short distance in the 38th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costel Goanță to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Costel Goanță mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC GURZUN and the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, FC GURZUN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costel Goanță to maneuver through the defense. Cléberson Damião could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Marcu Cretan made a huge save. In the 74th minute Cléberson Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Cretan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Goanță took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdemar Quadros. Valdemar Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Liviu Plop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liviu Plop's late challenge caught a Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liviu Plop helped the player get up and apologised. Liviu Plop kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Cléberson Damião dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcu Cretan, 2-2. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC GURZUN from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
