Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5591, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Aelgoet took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Uí Fergusa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradaigh Silke to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd play minute Joos De Middeleer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bivadi McJohnny. 1-0. Bradaigh Silke kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. With a little luck, Uí Fergusa's Bivadi McJohnny got control of the ball when Wannes Louckx tried to sneak it across the goal line. Floris Milters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peadair Dempsey in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Uí Fergusa were awarded a corner. Shamus Kirby went to the cornerflag to take it. Bivadi McJohnny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gill Uijterhoeven, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Bradaigh Silke hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bradaigh Silke in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Floris Milters saved Winksele 2016 from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bradaigh Silke to make the kick off. Bradaigh Silke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Floris Milters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Winksele 2016 got a freekick which was hit by Michel Dauwe. 58 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's Shamus Kirby broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bradaigh Silkes short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Floris Milters to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bivadi McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Dauwe in the 69th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Winksele 2016 got a freekick which was hit by Joos De Middeleer. Joos De Middeleer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bradaigh Silke in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Floris Milters saved Winksele 2016 from getting behind. Gill Uijterhoeven struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Bivadi McJohnny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winksele 2016. Bivadi McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Aelgoet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sem Severens came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Winksele 2016 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sem Severens couldn't finish the play. In the 90th match minute, Uí Fergusa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pembroke McPaul to maneuver through the defense. Floris Milters was a little too slow when Bannon Gollogley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-3.
