Edwardo Baca started the match with the kick off. Fly T.T's Guadalupe Lynn managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Einar Dusett in the 4 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Edwardo Baca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klas Nordgren was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. A collision led to Fly T.T getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Edwardo Baca hit a great ball. When Alvin Molin fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beetlejuice's protests and gave Alvin Molin a yellow card for diving instead. Mats Böcklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brant Shirley having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Vidar Tinglöf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwardo Baca in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Klas Nordgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Michael Bern struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Brant Shirley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beetlejuice. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Böcklund in the 26th minute of play forced Fly T.T's goalkeeper Brant Shirley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Edwardo Baca. In the 28th minute of the match Samuel Lönn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brant Shirley skillfully saved the ball. Brant Shirley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mats Böcklund's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fly T.T's zone, Mats Böcklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brant Shirley came out of the goal and Mats Böcklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edwardo Baca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klas Nordgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 46 minutes, Guadalupe Lynn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fly T.T and the Beetlejuice players grew even worse after the yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Mats Böcklund made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Edwardo Baca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klas Nordgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klas Nordgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwardo Baca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Fly T.T booed when Beetlejuice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Dusett didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Burl Sexton fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The Beetlejuice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Brant Shirley came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Beetlejuice's Mats Böcklund. But to his dismay, Mats Böcklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mats Böcklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Brant Shirley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Burl Sexton hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Mats Böcklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beetlejuice's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Böcklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brant Shirley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Fly T.T getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Léonard Keys hit a great ball. Samuel Lönn struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Brant Shirley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beetlejuice. The Fly T.T fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Beetlejuice were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
