Clemente Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolás Quirós in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Pipon Pipon's zone, Humberto Moscoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Armani came out of the goal and Humberto Moscoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donovan Heath in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Nicolás Quirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Pipon Pipon the free kick. Nicolás Quirós hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanh Goldberg in the 12th minute of play forced ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Sergio Gutierrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pipon Pipon's Clemente Armani. 0-1. After a rather tough play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Thanh Goldberg got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Clemente Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Thanh Goldberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Centella got free with Clemente Armani in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beto Centella who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Clemente Armani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Clemente Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Pipon Pipon from getting a goal against them. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolás Quirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Armani was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Elias Paredes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elias Paredes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Thanh Goldberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Gutierrez having to make a save. Toto Rios charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toto Rios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Alejandro Muñoz got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 90th match minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Pritchard to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 95 in the game by Elias Paredes from a close distance when the talented Clemente Armani managed to make a qualified save. C. A. Pipon Pipon's players were relieved. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ played a much better game than C. A. Pipon Pipon and deserved their victory. The C. A. Pipon Pipon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
