An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Gotfryd in the 11th minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Siekierski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Markus Albäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markus Albäck was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Maciej Lisewski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maciej Lisewski really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Nye's Markus Albäck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Nye from getting a goal against them. Bogdan Siekierski did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Markus Albäck 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogdan Siekierski to make the kick off.
