The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Pihl United got a freekick which was hit by Tony Wallin. Trinchera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Maurino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pihl United booed when Trinchera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Naelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Joel Holmgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pihl United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trinchera FC the free kick. A collision led to Pihl United getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Joel Holmgren hit a great ball. Trinchera FC's Camilo Bittor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Trinchera FC from getting a goal against them. Tony Wallin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Pihl United's Axel Ståhlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Bittor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Joel Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Johan Billock charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Johan Billock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pihl United getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Karl-Johan Billock hit a great ball. Delmar Ignatius kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 51 minutes into the game, Joel Holmgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Camilo Bittor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Leonardo Söderquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Ståhlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Trinchera FC's Guido Gaizkine got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Leonardo Söderquist came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Pihl United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Söderquist couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Wallin in the 68th minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Camilo Bittor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Pihl United's Tony Wallin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Bittor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 74 minutes into the match, Tony Wallin notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Trinchera FC's Camilo Bittor. Camilo Bittor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Holmgren succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. In the 83rd minute Joel Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Bittor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pihl United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
