Spectators: 7596 (Terracing: 5698, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Constantino Nazario took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tobias Bonifaco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgilio Patiño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Perfecto in the 5th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes C. A. BELGRANO got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Millan. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Federico Senon managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. BELGRANO's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Senon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Patiño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgilio Patiño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Nazario in the 19th minute of play. Braulio Sesuldo came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Wilson Morales. But to his dismay, Wilson Morales quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 31st match minute, C. A. BELGRANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Iyan to maneuver through the defense. Federico Senon kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Teobaldo Recciuc shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Braulio Sesuldo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Deportes Santa Cruz reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Federico Senon managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. BELGRANO booed when Club Deportes Santa Cruz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leoncio Mac Lean didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, C. A. BELGRANO's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Morales came free, but Braulio Sesuldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos José Angulo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Braulio Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilson Morales was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Club Deportes Santa Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Carlos José Angulo. In the 54th minute, Tobias Bonifaco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, Wilson Morales recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Braulio Sesuldo. Wilson Morales showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Braulio Sesuldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos José Angulo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braulio Sesuldo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos José Angulo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 65 minute of play. In the 68th minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Carlos José Angulo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Virgilio Patiño didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Senon went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Braulio Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Morales in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Wilson Morales dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Braulio Sesuldo, 1-5. Braulio Sesuldo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Wilson Morales sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Deportes Santa Cruz had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
