The ball had pretty good speed, but Teofilo Baladi firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gasteiz Ruesga took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofilo Baladi. Teofilo Baladi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If John Estefania had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gasteiz Ruesga in the 26th minute of play forced Lyons's goalkeeper Teofilo Baladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gasteiz Ruesga in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teofilo Baladi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gaizka Sesma made a great header on Swift GTi FDC's corner, it was just that Lyons's Teofilo Baladi managed to reach the ball for a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Piearres to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Swift GTi FDC's Gasteiz Ruesga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofilo Baladi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Resto Pinos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teofilo Baladi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Gasteiz Ruesga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Teofilo Baladi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Swift GTi FDC's Gasteiz Ruesga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teofilo Baladi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. A collision led to Lyons getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Valentin Piearres hit a great ball. Teofilo Baladi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gasteiz Ruesga in the 81st minute of play. Teofilo Baladi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Swift GTi FDC's Gasteiz Ruesga shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Resto Pinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Baladi having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Alfredo Mero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lyons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swift GTi FDC the free kick. In the 88th minute, Alfredo Mero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute of the match Gaizka Sesma shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teofilo Baladi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gasteiz Ruesga in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Baladi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernan Frade made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Damian Senio sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lyons players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Swift GTi FDC.
