If Andrézinho Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 4 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Byron Wills. After 5th play minutes Andrézinho Pinho shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Frances Tisserand and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 15th minute, José Pedro Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Frances Tisserand. Marshrose's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Bret Fry got a free kick in the 19th minute. Hernani Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Frances Tisserand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kiko Madureira fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agro Imortal's protests and gave Kiko Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Marshrose's Bret Fry slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Horácio Dracena. That made the score 1-2 after 25 minutes of play. When Raimundo Rezende fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agro Imortal's protests and gave Raimundo Rezende a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Fabiano Aparecido's late challenge caught a Marshrose's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Fabiano Aparecido helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Marshrose booed when Agro Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kiko Madureira was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Agro Imortal getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Kiko Madureira hit a great ball. Bret Fry charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bret Fry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Bret Fry got a free kick in the 39th minute. A collision led to Agro Imortal getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jeremias Severo hit a great ball.

In the 51st minute, Agro Imortal's Andrézinho Pinho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frances Tisserand. Frances Tisserand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Jeremias Severo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Frances Tisserand made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Cipriano Sampaio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrézinho Pinho got free with Frances Tisserand in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marshrose's goalkeeper Frances Tisserand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andrézinho Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Frances Tisserand made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerold Hooper in the 68th minute of play forced Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Horácio Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 68th minute of the match Raimundo Rezende completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Raimundo Rezende a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 69th minute, Raimundo Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrézinho Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, José Pedro Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frances Tisserand, 1-4. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
