Mahoma Lacorte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, April 25 SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Munio came free, but Mahoma Lacorte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club Atletico Los Andes getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Blas Raymundo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Neto in the 15th minute of play forced April 25 SC's goalkeeper Mahoma Lacorte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes April 25 SC got a freekick which was hit by Eneto Cardeñosa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eneto Cardeñosa got free with Basilio Padro in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the game, April 25 SC's Eneto Cardeñosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basilio Padro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Mahoma Lacorte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Munio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 32 minutes, Laurgain Gomar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the April 25 SC and the Club Atletico Los Andes players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to April 25 SC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Laurgain Gomar hit a great ball. Mahoma Lacorte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. April 25 SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Bento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Milio Pedriza hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Cecilio Weterio came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Club Atletico Los Andes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Weterio couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, April 25 SC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Bento came free, but Mahoma Lacorte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, April 25 SC's Dario Font got a free kick in the 44th minute. The April 25 SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atletico Los Andes were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eneto Cardeñosa to make the kick off. With a little luck, April 25 SC's Mahoma Lacorte got control of the ball when Blas Raymundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artemio Sengrat was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atletico Los Andes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! With his leg Mahoma Lacorte managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Club Atletico Los Andes's Blas Raymundo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. April 25 SC's Dario Font got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blas Raymundo came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mahoma Lacorte could save by the left post. When Milio Pedriza fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored April 25 SC's protests and gave Milio Pedriza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, April 25 SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milio Pedriza to maneuver through the defense. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for April 25 SC! After having played for 95 minutes, Efrain Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Los Andes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Club Atletico Los Andes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
