After having played for 15 minutes, Aytekin Esay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. nRdLiFe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aytekin Esay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Gregorian Juniors's zone, Göktan Sidam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddy Reitsma came out of the goal and Göktan Sidam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 minutes, Abdulbaki Hanefi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the nRdLiFe and the Boca Gregorian Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to nRdLiFe getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Abdulbaki Hanefi hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes Boca Gregorian Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Geert Arend Strobos. Eddy Reitsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göktan Sidam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent Bos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 27th playminute. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Edward Eschendaal sped through nRdLiFe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mustafa Anıl Haliloğlu. After a rather tough play, Boca Gregorian Juniors's Vincent Bos got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Göktan Sidam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. nRdLiFe's Mürsel Barlas got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, nRdLiFe's Aytekin Esay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eddy Reitsma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 45th minute, Aytekin Esay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The nRdLiFe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Göktan Sidam to strike the kick off in the second half. Eddy Reitsma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mürsel Barlas in the 56th minute.
