Khachatryan's Rico Starr pulled a muscle in his leg after 6 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Gomez Abadia fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Empate's protests and gave Gomez Abadia a yellow card for diving instead. Odell Casey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentine Abello went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Khachatryan's Roberto Abascal threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Terrance Norris, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 17 played minutes Deportivo Empate got a freekick which was hit by Mikel Abechuco. Deportivo Empate's Roberto Abascal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Empate from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentine Abello in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Odell Casey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Odell Casey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gomez Abadia in the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jed Strickland got free with Roberto Abascal in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Deportivo Empate's Roberto Abascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Covington in the 30th minute of play. Roberto Abascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jed Strickland in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Miguel Covington dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roberto Abascal, 1-1. A collision led to Deportivo Empate getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gomez Abadia hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Jed Strickland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Abascal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 47 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Covington. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentine Abello was the one to do the kick off. When Khachatryan's Miguel Covington in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Empate's goalie prevented a goal. Roberto Abascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Covington in the 59th minute of the match. Roberto Abascal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terrance Norris, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Jed Strickland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Abascal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gomez Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Otis Coppack. In the 73rdth minute of the game Miguel Covington who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Empate's Roberto Abascal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Deportivo Empate's Roberto Abascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otis Coppack in the 74th minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Empate's goalkeeper Roberto Abascal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Otis Coppack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Abascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Covington in the 84th minute of the match. Roberto Abascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Covington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88thth minute of the game Jed Strickland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Empate's Roberto Abascal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Covington in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Abascal saved Deportivo Empate from getting behind. Terrance Norris charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Terrance Norris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Terrance Norris. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Empate players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Khachatryan.
