Froilan Teofilio hit a great ball. Cornelio Ipar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Oscar Izotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robustiano Semeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Izotz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Oscar Izotz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leo Sindo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robustiano Semeno to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Pirmin charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Pirmin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnaldo Pirmin kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Oscar Izotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Ipar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 minutes of play Azulgranas AFC's Arnaldo Pirmin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 62 played minutes Azulgranas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Pirmin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Alonso in the 67th minute of play forced Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Oscar Izotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Izotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Semeno in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Azulgranas AFC's zone, Robustiano Semeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Izotz came out of the goal and Robustiano Semeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
