Henry Bada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Bobbi Søbøg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kurth Barnes during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, O-TT-O's Kurth Barnes got a free kick in the 9th minute. Vinicio Collado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niels Bolmar in the 13th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Niels Bolmar sped through Astillero del Guayas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vinicio Collado. O-TT-O's Bobbi Søbøg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save O-TT-O from getting a goal against them. Niels Bolmar kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Thorsten Søndermølle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Collado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Gargas came free, but Vinicio Collado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veronica Santotis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorsten Søndermølle in the 38th minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Vinicio Collado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinicio Collado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niels Bolmar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Astillero del Guayas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. O-TT-O were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lastra Trilla made a kick off. Niels Bolmar got in the 57th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Vinicio Collado handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 58 minutes of play Astillero del Guayas's Facundo Arango was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 59th minute, Facundo Arango hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, O-TT-O's Vinicio Collado threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Toke Linsefryd, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 64 minutes into the game, Henry Bada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astillero del Guayas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave O-TT-O the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toke Linsefryd got free with Vinicio Collado in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bobbi Søbøg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lastra Trilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niels Bolmars short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Vinicio Collado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vinicio Collado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asbjørn Denbæk in the 80th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Pablo-Enrique Oneca with Xofre Campomanes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 88 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Henry Bada. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. O-TT-O walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
