Pianello del Lario FC's Valentin Sabin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avelino Madruga in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match SLB TELHA got a corner. Pianello del Lario FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raimundo Regueira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Avelino Madruga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Sabin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Fernando Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Nereo Oliviero kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Valentin Sabin made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Avelino Madruga sent off a good shot on target. Despite being the better team, SLB TELHA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
