Abdelhamid Menguellet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Emery Garner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Robbie Le Van had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goal looked a bit too open when Kip Blevins came free, but Fathi Abbas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Potts. Fadhil Meniri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Emery Garner made a huge save. Fathi Abbas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curtis Hunter in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ForestFire's zone, Boughera Benmabrouk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emery Garner came out of the goal and Boughera Benmabrouk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Salmiyah Power getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Boughera Benmabrouk hit a great ball. The ForestFire fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when ForestFire's Robbie Le Van looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kip Blevins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fathi Abbas having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Boughera Benmabrouk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emery Garner, 1-1. Fathi Abbas came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by ForestFire's Tuan Zimmerman. But to his dismay, Tuan Zimmerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Kamel Horr fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salmiyah Power's protests and gave Kamel Horr a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Salmiyah Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamel Horr to maneuver through the defense. Merlin Nunez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fathi Abbas. Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. ForestFire's Emery Garner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save ForestFire from getting a goal against them. Emery Garner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fadhil Meniri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The wind increased when Abdelhamid Menguellet made the kick off in the second half. Andrew Zimmer's late challenge caught a Salmiyah Power's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrew Zimmer helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Kip Blevins managed to get in a good position for a shot. ForestFire's supporters rose to their feet, but Kip Blevins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fathi Abbas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robbie Le Van's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Fathi Abbas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Emery Garner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fadhil Meniri, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd match minute, Salmiyah Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halim Zeghdoud to maneuver through the defense. Fathi Abbas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Le Van, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuan Zimmerman in the 65th minute of play forced Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Fathi Abbas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ForestFire's Franklin Potts got a free kick in the 66th minute. Salmiyah Power made a substitution. Abdelkader Hamruche replaced Abdelhamid Menguellet. After 68 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Potts. Emery Garner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelkader Hamruche in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ForestFire's Samuel Chase got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute Rabah Messaoudi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emery Garner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Fathi Abbas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robbie Le Van. Fathi Abbas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kip Blevins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 97 minute of play. The Salmiyah Power supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ForestFire's performance. The match ended with a win for ForestFire.
