In the 7th minute Tuan Zimmerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duje Skelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ForestFire's zone, Zlatko Lacmanović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emery Garner came out of the goal and Zlatko Lacmanović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robbie Le Van got free with Duje Skelin in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, NK BRONZIN's Zlatko Lacmanović got a free kick in the 14th minute. Kip Blevins struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Duje Skelin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ForestFire. NK BRONZIN's Duje Skelin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save NK BRONZIN from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, ForestFire's Duje Skelin threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kip Blevins, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Andrew Zimmer kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robbie Le Van got free with Duje Skelin in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tuan Zimmerman took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duje Skelin. Duje Skelin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Robbie Le Van dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Duje Skelin, 2-0. In the 37th minute, ForestFire's Curtis Hunter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Duje Skelin. Duje Skelin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Curtis Hunter during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kip Blevins hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nenad Jelinčić was the one to do the kick off. Duje Skelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curtis Hunter, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With 53 minutes on the clock, Denis Kuhanec commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 54 played minutes NK BRONZIN got a freekick which was hit by Denis Kuhanec. Duje Skelin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kip Blevins in the 57th minute of the match. Duje Skelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuan Zimmerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Zlatko Lacmanović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ForestFire's Emery Garner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emery Garner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zlatko Lacmanović's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Arsen Mraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK BRONZIN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ForestFire the free kick. After 64 played minutes NK BRONZIN got a freekick which was hit by Arsen Mraz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuan Zimmerman in the 65th minute of play forced NK BRONZIN's goalkeeper Duje Skelin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robbie Le Van took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duje Skelin. Duje Skelin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 71st minute, Curtis Hunter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Robbie Le Van shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duje Skelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ForestFire booed when NK BRONZIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopold Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duje Skelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curtis Hunter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duje Skelin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Potts in the 84th minute of the match. Zlatko Lacmanović might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emery Garner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zlatko Lacmanović ran back to his position shaking his head. Curtis Hunter kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Zlatko Lacmanović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK BRONZIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zlatko Lacmanović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duje Skelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kip Blevins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ForestFire had played much better football throughout.
