Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Gladiators's Aquilino Osmundo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Alfonso Quilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the game, Albino Senen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Severino Caetano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gladiators's Severino Caetano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Gladiators from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Quilo took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Pietro. Rodrigo Pietro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 18th minute of the match, Albino Senen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Severino Caetano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Maní FC booed when Gladiators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Ostots didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maní FC's Ivan Corderun got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Haroldo Ricart recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severino Caetano. Haroldo Ricart showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. In the 24th minute Alfonso Quilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Pietro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Senen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Severino Caetano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Filiberto Ostots mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gladiators and the Maní FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gladiators's Filiberto Ostots got a free kick in the 29th minute. Severino Caetano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albino Senen in the 31st minute. Rodrigo Pietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Quilo in the 34th minute of the match. Rodrigo Pietro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Quilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Aquilino Osmundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Pietro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Aquilino Osmundo scored 3-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Pietro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute, Lucio Bonifaco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Alfonso Quilo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

54 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Quilo came free, but Rodrigo Pietro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Maní FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ivan Corderun hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes Gladiators got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Vargas. In the 73rd minute Albino Senen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Caetano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Caetano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Senen in the 78th minute of the match. Filiberto Ostots hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Albino Senen made a precise shot to the right of Severino Caetano. Gladiators's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Guido Arias's late challenge caught a Maní FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guido Arias helped the player get up and apologised. Severino Caetano came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Maní FC's Haroldo Ricart. But to his dismay, Haroldo Ricart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Severino Caetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Ricart, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Guido Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Maní FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
