Edson Zonta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Jax read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Emiliano Lucado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rolo Compressor FC the free kick. Décio Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

After 53 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Lucado. Raí Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raí Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Severo Lano fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's protests and gave Severo Lano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rolo Compressor FC booed when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Cresitobalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Sixto Nalo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
