Bearnaise EA's Agne Aronsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Bearnaise EA from getting a goal against them. Henning Sæmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo-Erik Melin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Romeo Pleth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agne Aronsson having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Pleth during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mårten Alström in the 44th minute of play forced FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Henning Sæmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bearnaise EA getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bo-Erik Melin hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Henning Sæmer was a little too slow when Johannes Kruse got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 2-5.
